The 2023 season opening ceremonies are tentatively scheduled for Friday, April 21, 2023 opening the season with a Majors game under the lights!

The regular season will run through Friday, June 16 and the division championships and final games of the year tentatively being held the week of June 19.

Tee Ball - Players Little League age 4 and 5 who do not have any prior baseball experience. Roster will consist of only North players with inter-league games with South Little League.

Machine Pitch is designed for players that are 5 to 8 years-old, with the expectation that players 5 or 6 have played 1 year of Tee-Ball. Players 8 years-old should only register for Machine Pitch if this is their first baseball experience. Roster will consist of only North players with inter-league games with South Little League.

A catapult-style machine is used to provide a consistent pitch, with players hitting off the tee when unsuccessful with the pitched ball. Players are expected to continue growing their skills with hitting, fielding and throwing. Additionally, their overall "baseball IQ" will increase with understanding the differences between a force and a tag play.

**Players 7 and 8 years-old will be asked to attend skill drills to evaluate skills and ensure they are being placed in the proper division.**

Player Pitch baseball is for all players 7 through 12 years-old. It is highly encouraged that first year players that are 7 play Machine Pitch to help learn the fundamentals.

The Player Pitch division are broken into multiple divisions based on age and skill. Some divisions are dependent upon having enough age eligible players registered.

Bantam: 7 to 9 years-old. This division is instructional and designed for players that are ready to start seeing some live pitching while still needing to develop basic skills. This is a draft-only division, players will pitch for part of the season in this division while using the pitching machine to start the season. 7 and 8 year-old players will be assigned to a Machine Pitch Division team if not drafted. Roster will consists of only North players with inter-league games with South Little League.

Minor: 8 to 11 years-old. This division is instructional, but leans toward competitive. The expectation is players are still working on some of the basic skills, while having an understanding of the basic concepts. This is a draft-only division, players will be selected based on skill to respective teams. Teams are drafted new each season. Players in this division will be pooled with players from South Saginaw Township LL for combined teams.

Major: 10 to 12 years-old. This division is competitive and has expectations that players have the basic skills mastered and a strong understanding of the game. This is a draft-only division, players will be selected based on skill to respective teams. Drafted players return to the same team year over year. Players in this division will be pooled with players from South Saginaw Township LL for combined teams.

Intermediate - Intermediate (50/70) is MANDATORY for all 13-year-old players. Players in this division will be pooled with players from South Saginaw Township LL for combined teams.

The bases are set at 70 feet (up from 60 feet in Major) and the pitcher's mound is set at 50 feet (up from 46 feet in Major). The ball is always live, allowing for lead-off and stealing at any time. The overall feel of the game is a combination between Major and Junior/Senior (60-foot pitching and 90-foot base paths).

Juniors - There will be no Junior division of play this year.

Seniors - The Senior division is for 14-16 year-old players. Play will begin in late April for those players not on a High School Baseball roster. Players on a High School roster will join teams after their High School season with Little League games continuing through June 19. Players in this division will be pooled with players from South Saginaw Township LL for combined teams.

The bases and pitcher's mound are set at 90 and 60 feet respectively. The ball is always live, allowing for lead-off and stealing at any time.
